Bread Courses in Kent — Taught in Your Own Home
These are courses for people who want to actually understand bread. Not just follow a recipe once and hope for the best — but know what good dough feels like, why fermentation matters, and how to fix things when they go wrong.
Martin teaches in your home or chosen venue across Kent. Small groups. Real dough. Skills that stay with you
As featured on BBC One’s Escape to the Country.

How it works
Martin comes to you — your kitchen, a hired space, wherever suits your group. He brings all ingredients, equipment and printed notes. You provide the oven and the enthusiasm.
Maximum five people per session, so there’s room to actually learn. Most courses run on Wednesdays. Private and weekend dates available on request.

Looking for something different?
Not every baking session needs to be a full day of learning. If you’re after something shorter, more social, or a gift for someone else, the experiences are where to look.
