Bucks Country Fair

Updated: 07/20/26
This year’s Bucks Country fair is on 3rd and 4th May 2026

I recently had the pleasure of participating in the Bucks Country Show, held on the 4th and 5th of May 2025 at the picturesque Penn House Estate near Beaconsfield. This family-friendly event, nestled in the heart of Buckinghamshire, was a delightful blend of rural charm and community spirit.

Over the course of two days, I delivered four bread-making demonstrations, each designed to inspire both novice bakers and seasoned enthusiasts. The sessions covered three key topics:

Low-Knead Dough Techniques: I showcased methods to create delicious bread with minimal kneading, perfect for those seeking efficient baking processes without compromising on quality.

Creative Roll Shaping: Attendees learned how to craft various roll shapes, adding a touch of artistry to their baking repertoire.

Air Fryer Baking: Demonstrating the versatility of air fryers, I baked rolls that were both crispy and fluffy, offering a modern twist to traditional baking.

Throughout the demonstrations, I shared numerous tips and tricks, from achieving the perfect crust to selecting the right flour, aiming to empower attendees to experiment confidently in their own kitchens.

The Bucks Country Show itself was a vibrant celebration of countryside life, featuring a variety of stalls, live entertainment, and activities for all ages. It was heartening to see such enthusiasm for traditional crafts and culinary arts.

Reflecting on the experience, I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with fellow food aficionados and contribute to this wonderful event. I look forward to future gatherings that celebrate our shared passion for baking and community.
