As the year comes to a close, I’ve been taking a moment to reflect on what has been a genuinely rewarding year for Strong White.
In 2025, the Mobile Bread School travelled into schools, community halls, care settings, fairs, and kitchens of all shapes and sizes. Wherever it landed, the response was the same: people love learning by doing, especially when dough, warmth, and shared stories are involved.
Bread has a way of slowing things down. It brings people together around a table, encourages conversation, and builds confidence — whether you’re five years old, shaping your first roll or rediscovering baking later in life. That simple truth continues to sit at the heart of everything I do.
Looking ahead to 2026
As we head into the New Year, Strong White is expanding its offer and availability. The Mobile Bread School will continue to deliver hands-on, inclusive baking experiences for:
- Primary and secondary schools
- Special educational settings
- Care homes and community groups
- Food festivals and country fairs
- Corporate well-being and team-building days
Each session is designed to be practical, engaging, and accessible — with participants getting their hands into dough, learning core skills, and leaving with something tangible they’ve made themselves.
A shared invitation
If you’re currently planning activities for 2026 — or if you know a colleague, teacher, organiser, or group who might be — I’d love to explore how Strong White could support them.
Many of my bookings come through word of mouth, and I’m always grateful when people pass Strong White on to others who might benefit. Good bread travels best when it’s shared.
With thanks
Thank you to everyone who has supported, booked, hosted, or simply followed Strong White this year. Your encouragement and curiosity keep the project growing.
Wishing you a warm, restful Christmas and a very happy New Year. I look forward to baking together again in 2026.
