Corporate Bread Making in Kent — Team Events That Actually Work

What a corporate session looks like

No two sessions are identical, but most follow the same broad shape. Martin arrives, sets up, and introduces the session — no slides, no icebreakers. Just flour and a simple explanation of what you’re about to do.

From there, it’s practical. Your team mixes dough, learns how to shape it, and works together through the stages. Martin teaches as he goes — explaining what’s happening, answering questions, keeping it moving. By the end, there’s fresh bread, and usually a conversation that didn’t exist at the start of the day.

Sessions can run as a half-day or full day. Suited to offices, hired venues, and unusual spaces — Martin has taught in village halls, boardrooms and barns. As long as there’s an oven, he can work with it.

What’s included

Martin handles the logistics. All ingredients, proving baskets, bowls, baking equipment and printed notes are brought to you. You don’t need to source anything or clear your kitchen. You just need a venue with a working oven and a group of people who’d like to bake.

Maximum 12 people for a single session. Larger groups can be discussed — just ask.

Why bread baking works as a team event

t requires patience and attention — but not skill. Nobody feels left behind because nobody starts with an advantage. The process is naturally collaborative — there’s always something to do, something to observe, something to ask about.

And unlike most events, there’s a tangible result at the end. Something you made with your hands, that smells good, and that you can eat together.

“Martin was incredibly patient, attentive, and never made us feel rushed.”
