Strong White has moved to Kent
After several years running bread courses across Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire, I’ve relocated to Whitstable on the Kent coast.
It’s a big change — new county, new neighbours, same bread.
Courses are already running and I’m taking bookings now. If you’ve been thinking about a sourdough day, a private group session, or something for a special occasion, this is a good moment.
What’s on offer
Everything that worked well in the South West transfers directly — the same hands-on approach, the same small groups, the same principle that you should leave able to repeat what you’ve done at home.
The core courses are:
- Simply Sourdough — the one most people start with. Starter, fermentation, shaping, baking. No mystery, no fuss. Book a place →
- Artisan Bread Workshop — rolls, loaves, flatbreads, enriched doughs. A full day of practical baking. Find out more →
- Private groups — the most popular option for birthdays, hen parties, and people who want a focused session at home. Get in touch and we’ll work something out.
Where I’m covering
Most sessions run in and around Whitstable, with travel across Kent for private bookings — Canterbury, Faversham, Sittingbourne, Maidstone and the surrounding villages.
If you’re not sure whether your location works, just ask.
Get in touch
If you’ve followed Strong White from the South West — thank you. And if you’re new here and just found this through a search for bread courses in Kent, welcome.
Either way, the best next step is the same: get in touch and we’ll find a date that works.
